Good looks.
Does it matter?

Yes.
The world might call it luck.
You might call it a bonus.
What it really is,
is God’s favour.
–
And with great power, comes great responsibility, remember? .–
With God’s favour,
there’s something to pay forward.
–
What is it for?
As with any good things,
it can’t be for ourselves,
right?
–
So what is it for?
Could it be considered a talent,
which mustn’t be buried but multiplied?
How?
In what way can it glorify God,
the Maker,
the Owner,
who has so generously
entrusted it to us,
the bearer,
the steward,
the channel of His beauty,
to practise faithfulness with?
– “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” Genesis 1:31 .–
So, God does express beauty.
God is beautiful.
God creates beauty.
God enjoys beauty.
God rejoices in how beautiful the things He created are.
–
If it matters to God, it matters to me. .—
Beauty.
Of course it matters.
—
Oh, did I mention
you are beautiful ?
I may not know you,
but that is still true,
‘coz I know the Maker
never fails to amaze
with every piece He create.
–
And that includes you.
God says you are good,
and you matter to Him.
–
“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” Matthew 10:30 .
